Kilmer Capital Partners Limited ("KCP"), a Toronto-based Private Equity Fund, announced today that Miriam Tuerk has joined KCP to focus on information technology investments. Ms. Tuerk is currently working in an advisory role with Olliance Consulting Group in Silicon Valley, is a member of the board of a leading Cloud Software firm, Enomaly Inc. and has held senior positions with global technology companies focused on Business Intelligence, Cloud, Open Source, SaaS, eCommerce, Payments & Financial Services, IT Consulting, Outsourcing and Telecom.

As Executive-in-Residence, Ms. Tuerk will work alongside the Kilmer team helping to source and evaluate IT-related investment opportunities within Software, ASP, Open Source, Financial Services, Teleco, Marketing/Analytics, Healthcare and Cleantech market segments. Additionally, on an as needed basis, Ms. Tuerk will bring a new perspective to Kilmer's current portfolio investments where her expertise can be leveraged. "Kilmer has a proven track record of assisting its portfolio investments as they capitalize on disruptive changes in the their markets. Today's information technology landscape is undergoing one of its most disruptive evolutions with the advent of Cloud Computing and mobile computing technologies. Ms. Tuerk previously served as President & CEO of Infobright Inc., an open source data warehousing company with customers in Online Marketing, Financial Services, Telecommunications, and other industries. Between 1993 and 1998 she worked at Bryker Data Systems which became Newstar Technologies, which was ultimately rolled into BCE Emergis Inc. When Miriam left Emergis in 2004 she was the President of the eSolutions Business Unit.

As the economy begins to heal and software and software-related companies search for growth capital Kilmer will be well positioned to act quickly and offer more than its capital.
